How environmentally friendly are we?Students of the Kyttea Foreign Language School, their friends and relatives carried out a survey on how environmentally friendly we are. The people who answered the questions were a hundred and fifty. Can you guess the results?
Almost half of the people who participated in the survey say that they always save water. They turn off the tap while brushing their teeth and they have a shower instead of a bath. People who are 13- 17 years old save water the most. This is very good but we need to try more.
Almost half of the people who participated in the survey say that they always save energy. They don’t keep their TV on standby when they don’t use it. People who are 31-40 years old save the most. This is very encouraging, but we can do more.
Half of the people who participated in the survey say that they go to work on foot or by bike.
To sum up, the results of the survey show that we are environmentally friendly. If we do what the survey suggests the world will be better and people healthier. Everyone can do these things very easily.
