Συμμετοχή της τ.μαθήτριάς μας Παπαγεωργακοπούλου Ιωάννας σε ημερίδα στο Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο

24 μαθητές από 46 Λύκεια της Περιφέρειας Δυτικής Ελλάδος εκπροσώπησαν τη χώρα μας στην ημερίδα.Η ξένη γλώσσα ήταν ένα από τα βασικά κριτήρια για την επιλογή τους.

Two months
ago I was selected after an essay competition to be part of a 24 teen member
group in order to represent Greece in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. So
the journey began. Between 500 teenagers from all over Europe our Greek team
was honored to express ideas and thoughts which are typical of the Greek mentality.
This barrage of knowledge about the European institutions became alive and we
were inevitably able to feel like real members of the European Parliament. The
Euroscola Day began with a discussion between us and a member of the E.P.,
Tibor Szanyi. Moreover, the discussions which took place after were about some
critical and also controversial issues, such as migration and integration,
human rights, the future of Europe, youth employment etc. What I must underline
is that the most worthed moment, except from the discussion, was the meeting
with teenagers from different countries, traditions, beliefs and the
relationship we developed. After that, this trip to Zurich-Strasbourg-Heidelberg
was an unforgettable experience which had a lot to teach us!
