Carnival

Like every year our city organizes a big carnival. This year we had a variety of groups like L.N.P.D., ¨ Όλα τα μωρά στη πίστα¨, ¨ Λερναία Ύδρα¨, the ¨Μαμαλάκης¨ group, the “Devils and the Angels” group and the “Valtopedio” group. The first prize of the competition between the groups was won by the ¨ Όλα τα μωρά στη πίστα¨ group. The second prize was won by the L.N.P.D. group which had the most participants.

A lot of people had been in the streets with colourful costumes and were having a great time. The carnival atmosphere was magical and they were all feeling it.

Many families from Nafpactos and other places came and the streets around the centre of the town were blocked by the people, which had as a result traffic around Nafpactos.

The restaurants and the cafes were crowded and a lot of people had a very good time meeting their old friends and watching the colourful carnival.
