Karaoke Party April 2009

What's the best and most entertaining way to practise your english? Doubtlessly music, listening and singing your favourite songs in english. Well, it seems like our english school knows how to take advantage of this fact and as a result another karaoke party took place in our school last Saturday 11th of April.

The combination of practising english while expressing your own music interests or even showing the talent you may have in singing and having fun with your friends was the key to the success of the karaoke party.

Many students decided to take part either alone, in groups or in douets, while others also tried to be the choreographers of themselves very successfully -Fotis Gravanis seemed to be a threat to Sakis Rouvas career!-

The band Alive Clintons presented some of the favourite songs of rock-lovers.We were honoured to to listen to them as James Bekos and Alex Zugouris, both very talented, have achieved to create a band which makes the difference between all those teenagers' bands.

Last but not least, I suppose we all know about Michael Jackson's announcement to start another tour, perhaps his last one. Well, wanna know a secret? Michael Jackson started from Nafpaktos. How? Thanks to Alex Karagiannis whose talent in M. Jackson's choreographies left us speechless!

Needless to say, we look forward to the next Karaoke party!!

    i dare to say its the best we had so far but someone had to stop it at nine and couldnt let it going on sir george....

    I was the last one who wanted the party to finish at 9. The number of the students who wanted to sing was bigger than any other time and I didn't even have the chance to practise my singing abilities and give the audience the chance of listening to a very special voice. (That's my voice i'm talking about). Anyway the next time, maybe we can start the party earlier, so that everybody gets enough of it.
