Trip to Arta

Last week the environmental group of the 1st high school of Nafpaktos had a 2-day trip to Arta! We set off at 14:30 outside our school and after 2 hours we were at Menidi where our hotel was.We saw our rooms, left our things there and took a walk at the village. We met the mayor who told us a few things about the history of Menidi and then we visited Arta.When we arrived we went for a coffee and after that we explored the city. Did you know that Arta has over 7 churches?! Wherever you look there is either a small or big church! We left Arta at 20:00 and we had dinner at the hotel. After our dinner we went to our rooms to ''sleep''. Once the teachers slept we started listening to music and taking walks to other rooms! Some of us didn't sleep at all and others slept for 1 hour most! Next morning we ''woke'' up at 8:00 and after 3 hours of walking(!) we reached the environmental centre of Araxthos. We visited the lighthouse and we returned to Arta for a quick lunch...We returned to Nafpaktos after 3 hours and we were all sleeping until we finally reached the school!Everybody had a great time!!!
