USE OF THE COMPUTER

Today, technology is one of the most useful creations mankind has achieved. People now use their knowledge and experience to help themselves and their fellow men, by using evolved machines, as well as of course, the electricity. Computers have proved to be the most accessible and useful inventions.
That is true, because by some simple controls, anyone can get informed about a subject. In parallel, the personal computer has standardized the way people organize their places. For example, because most businesses use ‘’Microsoft Word’’ or similar application for processing documents, it is easier for someone who has worked at one place to immediately feel at home once he/she starts a new job. It is also easier for an employer to train and brief new employees since they will be familiar with how business data and correspondence are organized. This means that, thanks to standardization in office, practices brought about by the personal computer, it is less expensive to hire and train new employees. This immediately translates into improved services for costumers and a better incentive for employers to take on more staff. Additionally, it is no longer necessary to type out a letter, put it in an envelope and mail it from the post office. Now most businesses and personal correspondence are sent via e-mail, meaning that all necessary messages are received within a matter of minutes, even if they are destined to the other side of the world. In addition, it has become less expensive to store data, such as photos and useful videos. Ultimately, the personal computer has brought balance to all work places, while reducing their costs.
But, the use of the computer does not have limits there. That is, because everyone can entertain themselves through a variety of games and electronic riddles, for example. Furthermore, any person can easily type an e-mail and send it to a friend, wherever he/she is. Everyone can also participate in forums, where different people share their opinion about different topics.
Summarizing, we observe that the computer has radically changed the way that people behave and, of course, consume their time with, as well as its usefulness to mankind.
