Dear Mr. Mayor,I am writing to inform you about a survey that the students of Kyttea Foreign Language School did on 150 people to find out how environmentally friendly the people in Nafpaktos are.
To begin with, you can put more recycling bins in the town so people will reycle more because only 49% recycle! The people who save water are 25% and those who don't save water are many more. Something must be done.
Furthermore, most of the people pollute the environment because 43% of the people go by car. Only 25% of the residents use public transportation and 33% go by foot or use the bike. I recommend making the bus fares cheaper so more people would use public transportation and building bike lanes so that more people can use their bikes safely and not for car parking. Also, new pavements must be made so pedestrians can walk everywhere.
As you can see the least amount of people are environmentally friendly. I hope you can do something to improve the situation in our area.
