MY COUNTRY AND THE SEA

Greece is a Mediterranean country and it is surrounded by sea. This is very important as well as a huge advantage for this country. The seas and the pretty islands of Greece are an attractive tourist attraction. Much money is coming into the country from tourism so it is important to visit our country, despite the fact that it may be damaging to the environment in many cases. Also, the seas are very important to us. Fish is a very favorable meal to many people and the sea offers this to us.In many different places, a lot of men go fishing which is their way of making a living. Therefore the sea does not just offer food but jobs. Another advantage of having the sea around us is that we can travel easily. On the west side of Greece and the Ionian, the sea brings us closer to other European countries such as Italy. The sea allows us easy access to travel to other countries as well as the beautiful islands of Greece. The sea plays an important role to the country and we must help protect it and not pollute the sea as well as the land.
