Meeting people from other countries

Raphael Bryan
A few days ago, at our English school, some people from other countries had arrived. So my partner and I interviewed an elderly gentleman from Jamaica, named Raphael.
Raphael lived in Jamaica when he was young. At the age of 25 he moved to England and has been living there since. He says he enjoys living there.
“In England, 50 million people live there and have a whale of a time because the economy is good, in Jamaica the economy is very bad.” he said
Raphael is retired with a wife and 2 sons. He also had a daughter, who passed away. He has 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Furthermore, he told us that he had spent 2 weeks in Greece 10 years ago. He would like to travel to China; he’s already been to France and Italy. He has read a few books but he prefers music and watching films.
I enjoyed the interview very much, as Raphael was a nice and friendly person. It was a different and unforgettable experience for us

….I learned how difficult the life of an immigrant is. He told me when he was 25 he left with his family from Jamaica to go to England……It was a unique experience to interview an English man! I liked it so much.
